What if I have too much shine after applying the loose mineral foundation?
Layering too thickly or pressing into the skin with the wrong brush tends to separate the minerals. It is easy to avoid this by applying thin layers in downward strokes with a Kabuki brush. It can also help to spritz with the Adorn Certified Organic Perfect Finish Hydrating Spritz and then blot or try lightly dusting over your make-up with our Perfect Finish Matte Setting Powder.

What if my skin looks uneven and blotchy?
This is usually because the minerals have been applied before the Primer has absorbed. Wait a minute or so after applying Primer or simply blot away any excess.

My loose mineral foundation is the wrong colour?
It was probably chosen in poor lighting or due to season change your skin may be lighter or darker now. The correct shade should disappear and blend perfectly. Try matching foundation to your décolletage/chest area in the warmer months and your jawline in the cooler months.

I am experiencing skin tickle?
If you get a ‘tickling’ sensation on the skin or a slight tightness after your first application, don’t worry this could just be technique. Try applying again using softer, lighter strokes with your Kabuki brush; remember you build layers gently to get the desired coverage. The skin on your face is very delicate and you may find the use of a dry brush for applying make-up a little strange at first but go softly and your skin will love you for changing over to Minerals! Alternatively spritz or dampen your Vegan Kabuki Brush before dipping into your Loose Foundation. If you continue to have a skin tickle or a raised pimple like rash and you ARE NOT using the Adorn Vegan Brush you may find the brush you are using is made of animal hair and this will be the likely cause of the irritation.

• If you perspire heavily, have an oily t-zoneor go swimming, don’t wipe your face with a towel or hand – just pat your face dry with tissue to refresh your make-up.
• To care for Adorn Vegan Brushes regularly clean them to minimise build-up of product on the brush and to maintain hygiene.
• For a more thorough clean wash them with a gentle shampoo as you would you own hair, leave to dry on their side, then fluff with your fingers to restore their silky softness. For an in between daily brush clean (essential for acne sufferers) spritz Adorns Natural Brush Cleaner onto a tissue and wipe your brush over this for an instant anti-bacterial.
